Thanks for your review. I am very interested in the Dreamflyer, I am planning to get my ground school done and pursue more training after it. I am also interested in gathering enough data to justify what we call a proof of concept to help maintain the efforts of continuity of training for our new pilots reporting on board our agency. This product would solve some flight issues and later become a standard of use for training and testing on issues of protocol and techniques, maybe becoming a
newly assigned section for which all pilots can get training and test their present skills. Do you have pictures I can see to get a better idea of the product? I am in EL Paso, Texas and our offices are next to the International El Paso Airport. Let me know if it is one of the locations in your future visits.
I hope I didn't sound too nerdy. It will be pleasure to evaluate the product if I get one. (Most likely I will soon).
Hello Randy,
My husband, also a pilot, owns the Dreamflyer and absolutely loves it. While I enjoy being his 'right-seat', I had previously never had any interest in using his Flight Simulation software in his office. Since we have purchased the Dreamflyer, I too am eager to fly the simulations, and absolutely love the enhanced feeling that you get with the pitch and roll motion. Most recently we have been playing the Down Under missions in Microsoft's FSX - they are waaaaaayyy more challenging on the Dreamflyer!
I intend to begin my own flight training in the next few months, and am looking forward to practicing my instrumentation and navigation on the Dreamflyer. I have been very fortunate to have travelled with this company (FMS Flight Motion Simulators) during my project to attend many tradeshows and events, and to assist in introducing the Dreamflyer to the general public. I can with all unbiased objectivity report that the Dreamflyer is a huge success with anyone who is familiar with flight simulation software (especially) and all aviation enthusiasts alike. Once you can compare the 'motionless' use of flight simulation software with the motion provided on the Dreamflyer, you will be hooked, my friend!! It is way too much fun.
Please do not hesitate to send me any questions.
Oh yes, where are you located geographically? The Dreamflyer will be at Sun 'n Fun in April, and some other locations soon to be announced. You really must try one to believe how incredible it really is.
