I carried out a number of searches and couldn't find a "Social network for Flight Simulator fans", hence the creation of this :)

This site is meant to supplement our main site at FlightSimX. It is not meant as a replacement and I won't be repeating all the content from there. This site is more about being a place for like minded people to meet and have fun.

You don't need 1a unless you intend to develop scenery for Flight Simulator X. This is the official line:

"Service Pack 1A is a package for scenery developers only. You will NOT need Service Pack 1A unless you intend to develop scenery for Flight Simulator X. "

The best method is to completely uninstall FSX, delete all folders it may have left behind, reinstall it, then install Service Pack 1.
